CAbi Scoop Spring Fashion Week

Blessing Oshin January 30, 2012 16

I believe everyone on here understands that I am an engineer and fashion is something that goes parallel to engineering right? Well not for this woman here. I was invited to CAbi Scoop Fashion Week in San Diego, California to mingle with over 3000 CAbi Consultants, bloggers, the media, the fashion industry, and other CAbi enthusiasts, so you can imagine my excited when I left the 23F weather in Ohio for 70F in San Diego. It wasn’t just the weather that had me all eager to meet other CAbi girls, it was because of reviews like these and these and because season after season CAbi’s design team have smartly combined chic trends with timeless and flattering feminine styles, and never compromised on quality and design.

As a working mother, this resonated well with me, because I know that I would rather have quality versus quantity. Studies have shown that women should always dress for the next higher position that they seek and it also improves our appeal in the workplace. CAbi offers exactly that and more!

More background into CAbi:

For over 25 years, women’s apparel designer, Carol Anderson, sold her collections in high-end department stores, like Nordstrom’s, and specialty boutiques across the country. In an effort to maintain her creative freedom and to bring her loyal following of customers even closer to the brand, CAbi (Carol Anderson by invitation) was launched in 2002. Leveraging the brand’s reputation in the fashion world, CAbi is a lucrative career opportunity for women that brings Carol’s designs directly to the customer. CAbi has expanded its large national footprint with Consultants in all 50 states, becoming the largest direct sales apparel company in the nation. CAbi offers two collections a year, which are available exclusively through the company’s Independent Fashion Consultants.  CAbi has developed a solid reputation for its unparalleled quality in clothing as well as its outstanding CAbi Consultants who are known for placing the customer’s happiness with her clothing selections above sales.

CAbi wowed me further with a flawless fashion show that delivered 100%.

I was dying to try the Spring Collections, which is why I will be hosting a party in March, feel free to message me if you are interested! Here are some of my favorite pieces. As you can see I am dying to get my hands on those yellow jeans.

I also met this beautiful bloggers the stylish housewife, savvy sassy momsbonbon rose girls, a mom in red high heels! They were all talented ladies with a deep sense of fashion. We all had the opportunity to shop CAbi as well and it was absolutely fun.

CAbi girls who were shopping with us were so nice, they even started suggesting how to pair my clothes. If you ever get a chance to attend a CAbi party, you will not be disappointed by the variety.

It was such a spirited fashion show, wasn’t it? I adore the energy that CAbi puts into their reveals! The confetti was the best ending touch but sitting right behind Carol Anderson herself was the BEST! Next time, an interview is in order :)

How fun! I totally agree that we should always dress for the next position that we seek. I’m a firm believer in speaking things into existence, so yeah…

Umm… I’m going to need those yellow cropped pants in my wardrobe. Like, yesterday.

I’m excited that you had such a great time but must admit jealous too. I just discovered Cabi and have a jacket that I adore! Even though it’s not maternity, my sister paired it with jeans and a tank for her baby shower and she looked like a celebrity. Cabi could do a style show with looks that take a mom to be through her pregnancy and into post mommy.

Just happen to have been in San Diego when the CAbi convention showed up this week. Lots of happy ladies…but few well dressed ladies! Lots of trendy mismatched outfits. Come on…really?
